Mica insulation material is a high-temperature resistant material with excellent electrical insulation properties. It is mainly made of natural mica (such as muscovite or phlogopite) through bonding and pressing, and is often used as a substitute for asbestos. It is widely used in electrical equipment, household appliances, metallurgy, and new energy fields, serving as a heat insulation, electrical insulation, and fireproofing agent.
Performance Characteristics
High Temperature Resistance: Maintains stable performance at high temperatures, with a temperature range of 500℃ to 1000℃ or higher, depending on the type of mica.
Electrical Insulation: Possesses extremely high volume and surface resistivity, as well as high dielectric strength.
Mechanical Properties: Has good flexural strength and hardness, is resistant to acids and alkalis, and is resistant to aging.
Environmental Performance: Contains no harmful components and does not produce toxic gases at high temperatures.

Main Applications
Electrical and Electronic Equipment: Used in power transformers, generators, motors, capacitors, microwave ovens, hair dryers, electric irons, etc.
High-Temperature Industries: Used for insulation and heat insulation of high-temperature equipment such as furnaces and electric furnaces, as well as furnace windows in steam boilers and smelting furnaces.
Fireproofing and Heat Insulation: Can be used in fire barriers and coatings, and as heat insulation and insulation materials for household appliances.
New Energy: Used for insulation and heat insulation of battery modules to prevent thermal runaway.
Others: Can be used as gaskets, seals, liners, separators, etc.

Mica Deep-Processed Insulation Products (Refractory Insulation Materials)
This is the most important application area for mica, accounting for more than 80% of the market share. These products utilize mica's excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance properties.
Mica Paper: A sheet material made from shredded mica, the basis for manufacturing other insulation products (such as mica tape and mica board).
Mica Board: Made by pressing mica paper with adhesives, it has high mechanical strength and excellent insulation properties, and is commonly used in electrical equipment, building materials, and the chemical industry.
Mica Tape: Typically composed of mica paper and reinforcing materials (such as fiberglass cloth), mainly used as a fire-resistant insulation layer for wires and cables.
Mica Tube: Used to manufacture insulating sleeves for various electrical equipment.
Mica Roll: Similar to mica tape, commonly used for the main insulation of large motors and transformers.
Custom-shaped Mica Parts: Mica components of various shapes customized to specific needs, such as support plates in electron tubes and capacitor chips.
