MgO-ZrO2 is toughened zirconia ceramics and produced by magnesium oxide as a stabilizer.
Compared with ordinary yttrium-stabilized zirconia, under severe conditions Mg-psz has phase transition caused by a series of change, such as pressured water vapor and humidity or acid-base solutions at a certain temperature. In this process it has excellent high temperature stability, chemical stability, and excellent mechanical properties aging resistance.
